HBO has released a clip of an interview between actor Martin Freeman and MTV News where he discusses the upcoming third season of “Game of Throne,” as well as the “Good, The Great, The Untold” documentary.
“Game of Thorns” actor Freeman, who played Grey Worm in the HBO series, also talks about his role in the documentary and his experiences with “Game Of Thrones” as a child.
In the clip, which was released to promote the new documentary “The Good,” Freeman discusses his role as Grey Worm, a character played by actor Sophie Turner in the series.
While talking about Grey Worm’s “good, the great, and the untold,” Freeman mentions how the character was always a bit of a dark horse, but he says he found that out over time.
The actor says he was very happy to have a role on “Game” in the first place, adding that he was “excited to be a part of something so special.”
“I’ve known for a long time that I wanted to play a character like Grey Worm,” Freeman said.
“I thought it was an awesome idea and I wanted it to be something different from what I’m used to.
So I’m excited to be on this amazing project.”
He continues, saying he is grateful to the fans who are still watching the series and excited for the third season.
He said he is thrilled to be part of it, adding, “I think that this is the best part of this whole experience, so I’m super excited to get going.”
The clip also includes an interview with “Good” director Peter Weir.
Freeman also talks on the film’s creative process and the importance of diversity in film.
When asked what he thought of his audition for the role of Grey Worm at HBO, Freeman said, “It was an amazing audition, and it was very exciting to get a call and it’s been really amazing to see what they do.
I feel like I’ve been able to express myself in a lot of different ways.”
