A man was killed and a woman was injured in a crash involving a Metro train that left the Metro station in the Bronx and the Hudson River Monday evening.
At about 9 p.m., a Metra train struck a van parked on the tracks, according to a statement from Metro.
The van’s driver and a passenger were injured, according the statement.
The man who died was identified as 27-year-old Christopher Brown, of New York City.
The woman who was injured was not immediately identified.
Metro says the van is a Toyota Tacoma.
A second van, an SUV, was involved.
