Lexus, the maker of the XLE, will add multimedia to its upcoming multimedia system to power its multimedia platform.
The company announced on Wednesday that it will begin shipping the multimedia system with the X360, the company’s flagship product line.
Lexus’ X360 multimedia system is equipped with a 4K display, a 13.3-inch touch screen, a Blu-ray drive and a 32GB of storage.
It has an optional wireless charging pad and comes with a USB Type-C port.
The multimedia system will be available in three colors: silver, blue and black.
“This is a major milestone in our product evolution and will help us deliver a next-generation multimedia system that delivers superior multimedia experiences to our customers, while continuing to be as flexible as possible,” said Lexus’ CEO and chairman Takahiro Chiba.
The new multimedia system can be upgraded to include a second touchscreen display and a wireless charging accessory.
It will be able to power up to 10 hours of video playback, or up to 300 hours of music.
“We will continue to offer high-quality, high-performance multimedia products for our customers with the Lexus multimedia platform,” said Chris Wilson, Lexus executive vice-president of products.
The X360 is the company ‘s latest multimedia product to arrive in the US.
It was unveiled earlier this month at CES.
It is the first system in the company to include two wireless charging pads, as well as a USB-C charging cable.
“It will take us one step closer to becoming a truly multimedia device, one that can deliver multimedia experiences that will allow users to take on the most demanding multimedia assignments,” said Chiba in a press release.
“By utilizing the latest advances in digital media and connectivity, we are able to deliver a new level of versatility, flexibility and productivity that will empower users to deliver their best multimedia experiences, with unprecedented flexibility and power,” he added.
A lot of people will be interested in the new Lexus X360 because it comes in three color choices: silver and blue, blue, and black, according to the company.
It’s not clear if the multimedia pad is for gaming, or if it will be used for more general use.
Lexuses latest products are sold in many different countries, including China, India, the UK, Germany, Australia and the US, but the company has yet to launch a US product.
