Microsoft announced on Wednesday that it has hired more than 2,000 people in the video production industry to support its media cloud computing efforts.
Microsoft also announced the hiring of more than 400 additional staff to support the new video content production.
In a blog post, the company said that its new video productions will include the following:Video editing, audio production, video production and video production editing, as well as video content management, video content licensing and video content publishing.
The company also announced that it will soon launch a video content hosting service.
Microsoft’s new video and media cloud capabilities will support new video formats, new video codecs and new video compression techniques.
Microsoft’s new media cloud features will allow its customers to access their video content online, and to publish, distribute and manage it through a cloud-based portal.
