By now, most of you know the gist of The Rightovers finale: the final confrontation between the two main characters, Aaron and Noah, is going to be the defining moment in the series, in which Aaron will try to save Noah from a dark fate.
If that sounds like you, well, you’re in luck: the Leftovers is currently streaming the series finale, and we’re about to get a look at the final episode on Vimeo.
The Leftover episode is entitled “Breathing Lessons” and features Aaron talking about the importance of breathing.
(Spoiler alert: it’s the most important episode of The Show.)
We caught up with show creator Damon Lindelof to ask what we can expect in the finale, what we should expect from Aaron’s character, and whether there will be any sort of emotional payoff for Noah.
“The episode is actually quite emotional,” Lindeloff told Wired in an email.
“We know that Noah will eventually be saved.
But this episode is the culmination of what happens to him in the next episode, and that episode is ultimately his undoing.
That is the most emotional and heartbreaking episode of the show.”
Lindelover said the episode is based on a true story.
“It’s based on true events that took place in Montana and that are still being investigated by the FBI,” he said.
“I have to tell you that we’ve been incredibly grateful that fans of the series have been so excited by this information.
We hope to have more on this soon.”
