Health news for July 2018.
Posted July 1, 2018 10:21:00If you’ve been waiting for a chance to speak to doctors, nurses, or other healthcare professionals about digital health and the latest news in health care, you might be disappointed to find that this will be your last chance.
But that’s not the case with the first digital health conference in the U.S. The International Conference on Digital Health (ICD) is set to begin July 31, 2018, in Denver, Colorado.
It’s expected to attract up to 2,500 attendees, including researchers and medical professionals, researchers, journalists, and healthcare professionals.
The first ever digital conference was held in March 2019, when more than 150 participants gathered at a conference in Las Vegas to discuss digital health.
This time around, the conference will be held in Colorado, and participants will have the chance to learn about the latest advances in digital health, learn about new ways to use digital devices, and share their experiences.
“It’s not just a new technology, but a new approach to delivering healthcare.
And I’m excited to have the opportunity to showcase this exciting technology to the medical profession,” said Mark D. Loeffler, director of the Health Communications Institute at The Ohio State University.”
This conference is a great example of how digital health is already a part of our healthcare systems.
The future of healthcare is digital, and we can leverage the power of digital technology to deliver health services faster, better, and more cost-effectively,” he added.
At the start of the conference, attendees will be asked to register for a digital health account, which can be used to track and download medical data.
In addition to the digital conference, there will also be an informational session and a poster session.
“This is going to be a great opportunity to hear about the emerging technology of digital health,” said David H. Jones, CEO of the American Academy of Medical Editors.
While some people may be hesitant to start a digital medical conference, the American Medical Association (AMA) has made it clear that digital health has many benefits, including providing the opportunity for the public to access more health information and to share their own experiences with healthcare professionals in an effort to improve their health.
“A digital health event is an opportunity for physicians to be part of a community where they are not just providing healthcare services, but also are participating in the healthcare dialogue, and to gain new perspectives and learn from colleagues, peers, and patients,” said Dr. Jennifer McLean, chair of the AMA’s Committee on Health and Wellness.
In addition to health professionals and researchers, there are also healthcare entrepreneurs and others who are looking to capitalize on digital health to make money.
“The potential for health care providers to become digitally engaged is huge.
The medical and pharmaceutical industries are the biggest potential beneficiaries,” said Michael B. Miller, president and CEO of Digital Health Partners, which has a focus on digital medical and healthcare.
“But digital health will also play a huge role in the future of health care.
The fact that we have the ability to interact with one another is going from strength to strength,” said Miller.
“It will help us improve our healthcare delivery, increase access, and create opportunities for those with disabilities, as well as people with other challenges, such as those with mental health issues and those with cardiovascular or diabetes problems,” he continued.
In 2019, the AMA will host a national conference on digital healthcare, and in 2020, the medical society is scheduled to hold a conference on “Healthy Future in Digital Health.”
